BITTEN BY DOG

WAITAKARURU BOY HURT ACCIDENT IN AUCKLAND. Reggie Duffin, aged nine years, the son of Mi- and Mrs Eric Duffin, of Waitakaruru, had an unpleasant experience recently. He had gone to Auckland* for the day, and whilst walking down Khyber Pass a dog sprang out from a gateway and) bit him on the right leg, below the knee. He was taken to the Auckland Public Hospital, where it was found necessary to have three stitches put in the wounds. Two anti-tenanus 1 injections were also given. He is recovering and apart from shock, does not seem to be any the worst for the experience. Reggie’s father is serving overseas in the Middle East.
