STATE OF FOOTPATH
COMPLAINT MADE TO COUNCIL NOW MERELY MUDDY TRACK A complaint regarding the state of the footpath in the front of her home in Victoria street was made by Mrs O. C. Berry at Thursday night’s meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council. Mrs Berry wrote as under:— “I wish to draw your, attention to the state of the footpath in fr?u; of my residence in Victoria street. Before my husband went overseas he cut the grass back, but at present there is just a muddy track and it is impossible for me to go out without the children and myself getting wet footed and muddy. I would appreciate this matter receiving your urgent attention.” The Mayor, Mr Edwin Edwards, said this was a case which the council could recommend to the works committee for concrete sealing. Practically every sec cion wa-< no.v built on. The Mayor’s suggestion was adopted.
