FULL YARDING AT WAIHI DAIRIES SELLING WELL The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report that they held their Waihi sale on Thursday when a full yarding of all classes of cattle were penned, also a light entry of store pigs and fat - sheep sold. Beef, and boner cattle were up to. recent late rates. Dairy cows and heifers close to profit sold well, but low conditioned and backward types were not wanted. Pigs were in demand, a good sale resulting. Quotations: — Sheep.—Medium fat wethers, to 325; fat hoggets, to 28s. Cattle. —Medium fat cows and heifers, £6 5s to £7 Is; light fat cows and heifers, £5 to £5 15s; heavy boner cows, £3 15s to £4 10s; medium boner cows, £3 to £3 10s; light boner cows, 35s to £2 10s; potter bulls, £4.to £5. Dairies. —Jersey and Jersey-Cross heifers close to profit, £9 5s to £11; others, £7 10s to £8 15s; backward sorts, £5 15s to £7; Jersey and JerseyCross close to profit, £6 15s to £8; others, £4 10s to £6 10s. pigs.—Medium porkers, to £3; store pigs, 29s to 35s 6d; slips, 25s to 32s 6d; weaners, 18s to 255; breeding sows, to £3 17s 6d.
