BACKWARD SORTS NOT WANTED
The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report having held their fortnightly dairy sale at Waihou on Thursday. Dairy heifers close to profit sold well, 'but low conditioned and backward sorts were not wanted.
Quotations. —Choice Jersey and Jer-sey-Cross heifers close to . profit, to £l4; good Jersey and Jersey-Cross heifers, £lO 10s to £ll 15s; others, £8 to £10; heifers in milk, £8 15s to £lO 10s; Jersey-Cross cows, £lO 10s to £ll ss.
