CHURCH PARADE

WHITIANGA GIRL GUIDES SERVICE HELD ON SUNDAY A Girl Guide church parade was held in the Whitianga Church on Sunday evening, August 1, by the Mercury Bay Girl Guide Company. The company fell in outside the church, and. then marched in formation into the service. Commissioner K. Harrison, Whitianga and Captain L. Robinson, were in attendance. ' During the service, the preacher, Mr W. Lee, called the company to attention and they repeated at salute the Girl Guide Promise. At the conclusion of the service the congregation rose and sang the National Anthem after which the Guides, in formation, marched out. The organist was Miss E. Lee.
