GOOD DEMAND AT PAEROA FAT PIG VALUES FIRM The New (Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report that at their fortnightly pig sale held at Paeroa on Monday, there was a good yarding for this time of the year. Fat pigs remained on a par with recent rates while all classes of store pigs again showed an improvement. Heavy baconers made £4 5s to £4 12s; medium; £3 18s to £4 ss; light, £3 10s to £3 15s; heavy porkers, £3 to £3 8s; medium, £2 16s to £3; light, £2 5s to £2 10s; large stores, £2 to £2 8s; slips, 30s to 355; good weaners, 20s to 28s; others, 14s to 19s; good sows close to profit, £7 to £9; others, £4 to £6 boars, £1 Is to £4 4s.
