Mr W. Close has returned to Whitianga after spending, a short time at his home in Auckland. Miss Mary White of Opotiki is holidaying with her parents, Mr and Mrs L. White of Whitianga. Mr and Mrs J. A. S. Gamble of Coromandel have taken up residence at Whitianga. Mi’ W. Lee, of Whitianga, has returned to the Bay after spending a short time in Auckland. Miss C. Brophy of Whitianga has returned from her vacation in Auckland. Mr and Mi’s E. Norton of Paeroa are the guest§ of Mrs Nortonj of Whitianga. Cpl. and Mrs I. V. Jones, of Te Aroha, spent a few days’ leave in Whitianga. ; . Pte. J. Jackman is visiting his home-folk in Whitianga. Mr W. H. Heald and Mrs Heald Snr., together with William, returned to Auckland this week, after spending a short time in Whitianga.
