QUESTION ASKED IN HOUSE
UNION SECRETARIES’ GRANTS
The number of tyres supplied to trade union secretaries was the subject of a question tabled in the House of Representatives on Friday by Mr A. S. Sutherland, M.P. The question read as under: “Would the Minister in charge give the House and the country the following information:—
“L.The number of tyres supplied to trade union secretaries since the tyre control came into operation. “2. The number of tyres supplied to trade union secretaries through the Tyre Control Committee.
“3. The number of tyres supplied to trade union secretaries through other channels than the • Tyre Control Committees.
“4. The number of tyres retreaded for trade union secretaries.”
