BOAT VERY IRREGULAR

PRESENT SERVICE TO PAEROA BOROUGH COUNCIL PROTEST Concern was expressed at Thursday night’s meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council at the irregularity of the present boat service to Paeroa and it was decided to request the Northern Steam Ship Company to at least maintain the usual winter service.

It was stated by councillors that at present the service was very irregular and recently the boat had not run even twice a week.

The opinion was expressed that if the regular water service to Paeroa was not maintained business Would be irrecoverably lost.
