121,403 WILLS HELD
WORK OF PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE £7,283,693 OF NEW BUSINESS Estates to the value of £309,944 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month of April, 1943. The total value of estates and funds under administration on March 31, 1943, was £66,777,793, the new business for the year-being £7,283,693. Grants of administration made by the court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 204 for the month. During the month 559 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 379 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 121,403.
