PIGS SELL WELL
GOOD YARDING AT PAEROA DEMAND FOR STORES IMPROVES The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., quote that at their fortnightly sale held at Paeroa on Monday there was quite a good yarding of pigs for this time of
the year and all classes of 'fat pigs sold particularly well at recent rates. Stores were more keenly sought after as a result of which there was
an improvement in price. Choppers sold exceptionally well. - They quote:— Choppers made from £5 to £7 Ils; heavy baconers, £4 4s to £4 Ils; medium, £3 15s to £4; light, £3 5s .to £3 12s; heavy porkers, £2 15s to £3 3s; medium, £2 9s to £2 14s; light, 35s to £2 ss; large stores, 33s to 38s; slips, 20s to 255; boars. £2 2s to £6 6s.
