BASKETBALL AT KEREPEEHI

MATCH PLAYED SATURDAY

The Kerepeehi Basketball Girls played a match with the boys on Saturday, May 8. The teams were as follow: —

Girls. —Goal, Misses P. Lord, E. Bennett, M: Poland; centre, Misses D. Clark, L. Poland, Mrs P. Burling; defence, Misses G. Patterson, J. Hayes, C. Corner.

Boys’ team. —Goal, D. Hayes, R. Murray, J. Burgess; centre, »B. Smith, J. Hands, C. Harvey; defence, A. Rawlins, ‘S. Lord, R. Nicholson. The match resulted in a win for the girls by 2-0 goals to 12. Miss N. Jordan was referee.
