Films and Radio
The relative values of films and the radio in schools was commented upon at the meeting of the' Southland Education Board. “The appeal to the eye is more effective than that to the ear; consequently, film projectors are more useful in education than . are radio sets,” declared the senior inspector of schools for Southland, Mr H. D. Prichard. /‘Film projectors have proved a valuable adjunct to the work of the schools, many of which are equipped with radio installations,” he added.
