KEREPEEHI FAREWELL
OLD RESIDENT HONOURED MR X NICHOLSON ENTERTAINED Mr J. H. Nicholson, of Kerepeehi, left on Wednesday to reside with his sister in Auckland. Mr Nicholson is one of the oldest residents in Kerepeehi and is well-known on the Hauraki Plains.
For many years he was a county councillor and a member of the Kerepeehi School Committee until recent years. He was a member of the school committee when Kerepeehi school first opened and also an aident supporter of the Kerepeehi Sports Club, rugby, football, hockey, tennis, cricket and has always taken a keen interest in the welfare of the district.
