NETHERTON LODGE

MEETING OF ODDFELLOWS NEW MEMBER INITIATED The regular meeting of the Loyal Netherton Lodge was held in the Netherton Hall on Tuesday evening, April 20, the N.G., Sister M. Sarjant, presiding over a good attendance of members.

One new member was initiated into the order. Bro. -H. Prout conducted the candidate through the mystic ceremony, and the charge was given by the Lecture Mistress, Sister V. E. Turner, P.G.

P.G. Bro. .Stembridge was elected delegate to represent the Loyal Netherton Lodge at the conference to be held in Auckland on May 4. Remits were brought forward for discussion and Bro. .Stembridge was given power to vote as he thought best in the interests of the lodge. At the conclusion of lodge business the War Ritual was read by the N.G.

After the closing of lodge supper was served by the sisters of the lodge after which a social committee was formed and- tentative arrangements were made to hold a monster Oddfellows dance and card evening during the month of May. -Games were then indulged in and a most enjoyable evening brought to a close.
