GOOD CREDIT BALANCES WATER SUPPLY FINANCE OHINEMURI COUNTY POSITION That all the water supplies administered by the Ohinemuri County Council have an excellent credit balance was disclosed to the April meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council in the report on the balance sheet for the year ended March 31, 1943. , The report read as follows: — “The expenditure on the Paeroa water supply increased by £9O 6s to £294 18s 3d and the water charges receipts increased from £779 13s 6d to £Bl3 4s lOd. The credit balance has been increased from £3249 8s 6d to £3775 14s sd. This increase is partly due to arrears totalling £l3l 0s 10d being paid during the year. Water charges outstanding at March 31 total only £24 Is lid, being owing by only two consumers. Karangahake Supply “The revenue in the Karangahake Water Supply Account increased from £l2O 9s 8d to £142 2s 10-d and the credit, balance increased from £249 12s lid to £294 9s 3d. “The revenue in the Waikino Water Supply Account also increased from £224- 18s 5d to £236 19s 3d and the credit balance increased from £5BO 8s 5d to £584 Is. “The revenue in the Kiaimanawa water supply account -decerased by £8 3s 7d to £341 10s 7d and expenditure other than loan charges increased from £244 19s 5d to £262 8s Od, decreasing the credit balance from £238 16s 5d to £206 11s 7d.
