RELIABLE FARM HORSES HORSE SALE, HELD AT WAIHOU The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company Ltd. report having held their Waihou horse sale on Tuesday, April 20, when a fair offering of all classes of horses came forward.
There was a good enquiry for reliable farm horses and for this class competition was keen. Bidding was slower for light farm horses and also for poorer class hacks.
Quotations: — Heavy draughts, £l7 10s to £32; good medium draughts, £2B to £35 10s; other medium draughts, £lB to £24; aged draughts, £lO to £l5. Hacks, £7 to £10; ponies, £5 to £lO.
