SOME METAL ALREADY SPREAD

At Wednesday’s meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council the engineer, Mr J. C. Clarke, reported that work on the reconstruction of the Ngatea-Turua road had been commenced. *

The report added: — “Part of this road has been scaried and some metal spread, but at the moment the grader has had to go on grading as some of the roads had become particularly rough..”
