COUNCILLOR’S RESIGNATION
LETTER FROM CR. T. V. WHITTLE
Councillor T. V. Whittle wrote to the April meeting of the Coromandel County Council tendering his resignation as a councillor. He pointed but that he felt, while he was away on active service, he could not act in his capacity as councillor and therefore tendered his resignation. It was proposed by the chairman, seconded by Cr. A. J. Denize, ‘That the council defer acceptance of the resignation of Cr. T. V. Whittle.”
