Mrs and Mrs A. McCloud, have returned to Whitianga after holidaying in Auckland. Miss J. Creed has returned to Mercury Bay after spending annual leave ii the Queen City. Mr and Mrs C. H. Beynon, of Wellington, have been visiting their daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs Minifie, of Coroglen. Mr Bernard Tucker, of Mercury Bay, has ‘been transferred to the post office staff at Paeroa. Mr and Mrs A. G. Crickett and sons of Otaua, are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Lee, Whitianga. Mrs Gordon Sewell, of Mercury Bay, journeyed to Auckland on The Lady Jocelyn on Thursday.. Mr James Gardiner, of Whitianga, left on The Lady Jocelyn on Thursday. ' Mr W. Clark, vice-president o± the Dominion executive, Mr W. F. Johnstone, chairman of the Thames Electoral Committee, and Mr C. G. Jackman, political agent of the National Party, recently visited Whitianga, Mercury Bay. .
