SOCIAL NOTES

Mrs Claude MacDonald, of Balmoral road, Auckland, was the guest of her sister, Mrs W. W. Williams, at Ngatea, for Easter. Mrs E. Hall and Miss June Bartley, who spent the Easter holidays with their parents, Mr and Mrs Fred Bartley, at Hauraki Hotel, returned to Devonport on Monday. Mrs W. Ratcliffe of Ngatea is holidaying at St. Helier’s Bay, Auckland. Mrs W. Bailey, of Kerepeehi, is visiting her parents, Mr and .Mrs C. A. Shortt, of Waihi Beach. Miss N. Taylor of Kerepeehi, spent the Easter holidays as the guest of Mrs C. Bird, .Netherton. Miss Nicholls of Kerepeehi, visited her parents in Cambridge for Easter week.

Miss H. Lord has returned to Auckland after an extended visit to her parents in Kerepeehi. Mrs W. Kidd of Kerepeehi, visited Mrs C,. Bird, Netherton, for the Easter holidays.

Mrs K. Menzies and hei’ son Bruce, of Kerepeehi were in Auckland during Easter week.

Mrs J. Smith of Kerepeehi, visited Auckland for Easter.

Mrs P. Reddy and her son Keith of Kerepeehi were in Auckland for the Easter holidays.

Mrs Douglas of Auckland, is, the guest of her daughter, Mrs H. Warner, Kerepeehi. Mrs C. Billing and her son Peter, have returned to their home in Kerepeehi after a week’s visit to Thames. Mrs J. P. Burlings of Kerepeehi has left for a few weeks’ visit to her sister in Palmerston North.

Miss N. 'Collins, Kerepeehi, spent the Easter holidays, in Auckland. Miss N. McLeod, of Ngatea, was a visitor to Miss M. Miller at Putaruru for the week-end.

Mrs l M. Skipper, who spent the Easter vacation in Hamilton, has returned to Ngatea.

Mrs C. A. Blackwood, of ■ Onslow road, Paeroa, is a' visitor to Auckland.

Mrs R. L. Darley, of Wood street, Paeroa,. has returned hom§ after a week’s holiday spent at Waihi Beach. Mrs G. Elvidge, of Thames road, Paeroa, spent the Easter vacation at Waihi Beach. Mrs G. A. Gamble, of Wood street, Paeroa, was a visitor to Auckland during Easter. Miss C. Davies, of Auckland, spent the Easter week-end in Paeroa with her mother, Mrs R. L. Davies, Willoughby street.
