AUCKLAND V. THAMES VALLEY. TO-MORROW’S MATCH. The Auckland Lawn Tennis Association and the Thames Valley Lawn Tennis Association will meet in play at the Paeroa Club’s courts tomorrow. The following are the teams for the match, which is timed to commence at 2 p.m. : — Auckland.—Misses Knight, P. Miller, D. Miller, Marion Macfarlane, M. Potter and'P. Frankham ; Messrs E. L. Bartleet, E. W. Griffiths, S. Lamb, V. H. Hubble, Watkins and A. C. Johns. Thames Valley.—Miss Shand (Paeroa), Mrs Glover (Thames), Miss G. Gibb (Hikutaia), Miss Sharpe (Thames), Mrs Danby (Thames), Mrs Wallace (Thames) ; emergency, Miss Ellis (Paeroa) ; Dr. Gray (Thames), Messrs Wright (Te Aroha), Bush (Te Aroha), Garland (Thames), Danby (Thames), Ruston (Paeroa) ; emergency, Thorp (Paeroa). Lady members of the Paeroa club are reminded that it is the general afternoon tea day. HAURAKI PLAINS MATCHES. Hauraki Plains tennis players will play their first competition matches to-morrow. In the “A” grade Ngatea will visit Turua, Hopai will visit Patetonga, and Waitakaruru will visit Kerepeehi. In the “B” grade the same clubs will meet at the other courts. Kaihere, which has not an “A” grade team, fills the vacancy caused by the lack of a Hopai “B” grade team.
