LABOUR DAY.

CHEAP RAILWAY FARES. Labour Day falls on the nearest Monday to October 25, and this year will be kept up on the 28th inst., so many people will doubtless avail themselves of the Railway Department’s cheap train fares to enjoy a pleasant week-end change. Excursion fares from and to all stations will be in operation from October 25 to 28, and the tickets will be available for return up to November 23. Tickets may be purchased and seats and sleeping berths reserved 14 days ahead of travel date.
