HOCKEY.
PAEROA V. WAIHI. WIN FOR LOCAL TEAM. A Paeroa ladies hockey team travelled to Waihi on Saturday, and after a pleasant and exciting game won by 5 goals to 3. For Paeroa goals were shot by Misses A. O’Neil (2), V. Shand (2), and B. Hunter, while the scorers for Waihi were Misses McPherson, Mc-‘ Connell, and D. Weedon. Mr J, M. Wrigley, Waihi, was referee.
