KING’S RECOVERY.
THANKSGIVING SERVICES. The Special service of thanksgiving for the restoration to health of His Majesty the King was held on Sunday morning in St. Paul’s Church at 10 o’clock. The form was that prescribed for use throughout the Empire, and the service was conducted by the Vicar, the Rev. W. G. H. Weadon. There was only a moderate attendance of parishioners, which was no doubt partly accounted for by the heavy downpour of rain shortly before the hour of the service, but those present joined in the singing and devotions with a heartiness which testified to the sincerity of the spirit of thankfulness.
