Very severe frosts were expenenced on the Hauraki Plains on Wednes- * day and Thursday mornings, and W many farmers were glad that it was ji not necessary to commence milking n<s early as in the summer-time. On some farms the separating had to be postponed until the skimmed milk pipe had thawed out.
