COUNTY RATES.
HAURAKI PLAINS BODY. AMOUNTS TO BE STRUCK. After considering the estimates for the year the Hauraki Plains County Council at its meeting yesterday decided on the following rates General Rates. Turua riding, Id (down 2>d) ; Kopuarahi, 2Ad (same) ; Horahia, 2d (down 2d) ; Kerepeehi, 2d (same) ; Netherton, Ud (down }d) ; Patetonga, 21d (down Jd) ; Ngatea, 2Jd (same) ; Pipiroa, 2id (same) ; Waitakaruur, 2Jd (down id). Special Rates. A reduction of Jd in the hospital rate was made possible by a decrease in the levy. The special rates will be the same as last year, with the following exceptions : Ngataipua East 1928 loan, up Id ; Netherton Roads 1925, down •>d; Patetonga South Road, a new rate of Id ; Patetonga roads, a new loan of lid ; Ngatea roads, up id ; Waitakaruru, Maukoro Road, down id.
