COMMUNITY SINGING.

UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF. THE COUNCIL”S INTENTIONS. Under the auspices of the Paeroa Borough Council community singing will be held in the Gaiety Theatre, commencing at 8 p.m. to-morrow, with Mr F. Williams as leader. During the course of the evening the Mayor and councillors will explain proposals for the relief of unemployment, including the erection of a War Memorial and the laying-out of the hospital grounds. Arrival as early as possible is ad vised, for with everyone interested in the vital , questions concerning the community to be discussed, and appreciative of the beauty of massed singing, participants will be eager to secure their seats. The theatre, though, is large, and with the subject so important everyone should make an effort to attend for both pleasure and information.
