The N.Z. Meat Producers’ Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenor Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for ths fortnight ended May 23, '929, from Argentine and Uruguay (the figures do not include exports from Patagonia, Chile, or Brazil) :— 241,090 quarters of chilled beef, 3950 quarters of frozen beef, 62,929 carcases of frozen mutton, and 85,639 carcases of frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was as follows : 109,900 quarters of frozen beef, 31,987 carcases of frozen mutton, and 702 carcases of frozen lamb.
