SWIMMING.
THE PAEROA CLUB. FORTHCOMING GALA. The programme just issued for the championship gala, to be 'held by .the Paeroa Amateur Swimming Club at Paeroa on Thursday, March 21, includes three championship events, namely, 50 yards Junior Paeroa Club, for a gold medal presented by Mr HSpinks ; 100 yards Senior Paer'da Club, for a gold medal presented by Mr F. G. Williams; and the 440 yards South Auckland Centre Championship, for a gold medal presented by the president of the local cl.ub, Mr W. D. Nicholas. The other events are: 33% yards, for beth beys and g,irls; under 14, gifls under 17, ladiep, and) men. A neat dive competition for both ladies and men, a dual relay race, and ain interclub relay race are also On the programme.
