Representatives of .the Ng;atep District High School visite.d Paer.ca on Saturday for a series of friendly encounters in tennis, cricket and swimming with pupils of. the loteal high school.

A one-.inniiigs cricket match resulted in a decisive win for, Paeroa, the scores being Paqroa 140 .(Nichojls. 37, Hardman 32 not out, Mancler((21).0 1 ). and Ngatea 40 (Parfitt 13, Johnson 11)Mayo took eight wickets for 12 runs. The Ngatea girls, playing excellent tennis, (Defeated Paeroa by 6 sets to 3.

Swimming In relay teams of six was fairly even until half way through, when the Paqroa boys, drawing ahead, won by nearly ’half a length of the bath.
