Paeroa, through defeating Waitoa on Saturday, has taken the lead in the Piak’o Association’s competition, Northern Section. Points were gained as under:—
Paeroa v. Te Ar.ohs. won 3, lost. 1, ■7 points; Paerpia. v. AVaitoa, won 2, lost 2, 5 points; Paeroa v. Morrinsville; won 1 drawn 1, 3 points. Total Points for Paeroa, 15.
Paeroa plays two more matches, both with Mor,rins.ville, to) compete their part in the competition.
