PAEROA V. THAMES. THAMES HOLD COURT CUP. Yesterday the initial cricket match for the Court Cup eventuated at Thamep. The Paeroa eleven were the challengers, but were not successful in their effort, Thames winning the contest by seven wickets. Wright for Paeroa gave an excellent exhibition of wicket-keeping, while Ball and Howard gave a splendid all-round display.
