HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports : — At Frankton on Tuesday last, we had a fail* enjtry of ox .a.nd cow beef. Prices were again fl ran, with a rise of 25»; to 30 per head on the. previous week ,Cho,ice prime ox sold, up to 46s per 1001 b, choice, cow and heifer, up to 425, and medium quality cows, up to 375..< Mediium-weight bullocks £l5 11s .to £l6 Ils, small light steers £lO 5s to £lO 11s ; fat heifers. £l2 2s ; prime fat. cqws £l2 to £l2 17s 6d, medium quality £8 Is to £9 2s 6d, plain and unfinished' £7 Is to £8 ; good stqre cows £5 to £5 Ils, others £3 Is to £4 ; cull co,ws £2 116 s. There, was a good entry of “bobby” calvos, which met with conipe'titiojn prices ranging from 8s to 16s.
We had a small entry qf prime fat sheep, for, which there. wa;s stroiig competition. Extra prime heavy fat ewes brought from 38s 3d to 40s ; fat weathers 41s ; extra prime hqggets 37s- fat hoggets 28s 2d to. 30s Id, small store hoggets 19s 6d ; aged ewes iu lamb 24s 6d.
There was a good eqtry fo both fat and store pigs. Prices were Sjlightly easier for baconers. with a firm market fqn porkers and good stores. Bqst b.aeoners £3 7s to £3 10s, light £2 19 s to £3 'ss ; gqod pof'keiis £2 10s to £2 lG|s; slips 23s 6d to 25s ; weaners 7s to 16(s 6d.
