A-recent report, by' the Department of Commerce at Washington skews that something like- half a million citizens of the United States go on tour -every year and -spend more than £150,000,000 (says the Christchurch “Press”). CcaisiderabHy more tlian htrlf of it goes-to Europe, and 1 about a quarter of it in Canada, but 'that still leaves many millions sterling available for Australia and New Zealand if-they' choc/se to go after it; and going after it simply' means more intelligent publicity work. Even if Canada were not a neighbour she would still get more toufiists than any other Dominion, because she knows better than the other Dominions how and 1 wihat to advertise.
