MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
CLAIM FOR MAINTENANCE. ORDERS’ GRANTED. A single woman proceeded against Frank Kensington, grocer’s assistant, Eketahuna, and applied for orders declaring him to be the father of her child, maintenance ,at the rate of 15s a week, and also the costs; qf the proceedings. The Court was cleared. After hearing the evidence the orders as applied for were granted, plus payment of arrears amounting to £4O at the rate of 5s a week, and solicitor’s fee £2 2s.

Joel Fisher, £59 108 sd, costs £5 Ils ; W. Fleming Son, Ltd., v. H. K. Peterson, £99 6s 2d, costs £5 10s; H. E. Raffill v. E. Thompson, £l4 9s 4d, £2 14s ; C. J. Bayley v. C. Buttler, £3 4s, costs £1 5s 6d ; W. 11. Beale v. J. Hands, £8 16s, costs £l 'los 6d ; W. Fleming and Son, Ltd., v. J. Odum, £5, costs £1 14 s Gd.
JUDGMENT SUMMONS.
E. E-. Neil was ordered to pay Messrs Brenan and Co., Ltd., the sum of £55 10s 7d forthwith, in default two months’ imprisonment in Auckland gaol, tjie warrant to be suspended s'o long as debtor paid £l5 within one month ;a,ntj' £6 a month thereafter, the first payment to be made on September 1, plus costs £2 2s.
When, the case of the Paerioa Brewery Co. v. D. W. Robson,, claiming £3O 16s 6d, was called thfere was no appearance of anyone for the Brewery Co., and the case w,as stnuck out, with costs aga.inst the company amounting to £1 9s.
