AURORA THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY THE KING OF KINGS. “The King of Kings” is to be shown to-niglit, to.morrow night, ,a,nd Wednesday night, and there will be matinees to-morrow and 'Wednesday At 3 p.m. The Way of Sorrow travelled by the. condemned from the Palace of Herod to the executon ground is reproduced with fidelity and skill in this picture. Contrary to popular belief, the Via Dolorosa was not one road but a succession of streets with, a number of turnings, and now and again broken by flights of steps. The so-called Street of David, in the modern Jerusalem, is part of it. In order to properly present the scenes along it, the producer was oblged to reconstruct the crowded city quarter of Jerusalem, showing the marts;, the flanking alleyways, the long side passages, tlie curious overhead’niches or balconies, and the different levels of terraces of the building construction.
