JESSE JAMES.
One of the most remarkable shots ever attempted in. a, motion picture will be seen in Fred Thomson’s first production, “ Jesse James,” which is to be screened to-night. It depicts a spectacular trai,n hold-up by Jesse James. Fred Thomson as the famous outlaw leads the stunt on his white horse Silver King, t SATURDAY NIGHT. SILK STOCKINGS. Laura La. Plante’s famous comedy flair, was never better, evidenced than in her portrayal, of the, young bride in “Silk Stockings,” to be presented to-morrow night. This is ,a comedy which skits along the border ojf tragedy but never touches it, and is hence superbly funny. CALIFORNIA AND BUST. All the excitement and danger to be found in racing a car arc in “California or Bust,” also to be shown tomorrow night and starring . George O’Hara. The race, however, is not the tra.ck variety, but is confined to two cars which test their superiority on the dangerous road across the Arizona desert. TURUA PICTURES. .IS THAT SO? On Saturday next will be screened “Is, That So?” This is the screen version of the international stage success which proved such a whirlwind and sensat’on in London. It is a. Fox production, full of thrills, and gives continuous entertainment. CASEY AT THE BAT. Tuesday night next will be shown “C.a.sey at the Bat,” featuring that well-knowp laughter-maker, Wallace Beery. This is a sparkling comedy of the baseball demon, with Beery at his funniest. It is a laughter special,.
