WEDDING.
CLARKIN— There was a pretty wedding at St. Paul’s Church, Paeroa, on Wednesday last, when the bride was Miss Ellen Maude Masters, daughter of Mr and Mrs E. S. Masters, of Paeroa, and the bridegroom was Mr John Clarkin, eldest son of Mr John Clarkin, of Eureka, Waikato. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Connolly, of Te Aroha. The bridge was given away by iher father, and wore- a very pretty frock of deep cream crepe-de-chine, with- silver bugle trimming. Her long embroidered tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried ai bouquet of pink and white flowers. Miss Iris Masters attended her sister in a dainty frock of apricot georgette embroidered with autumn and gold tints. She wore a turban of prettty shades to match, and carried a bouquet of gold and yellow flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Lionel Masters.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the Commercial Hotel, the bride’s mother receiving her guests in a frock of brown crepe-de-chine and a toque of. panne velvet to match.
