PROFIT OF £40,000.
The London Daily News says that the profits of the Waratahs’ tour are .estimated at nearly £40,000. ~V.The receipts of the four interna,--ffonal games totalled £35,000. The gate money against England was £15,000 alone, covering the guarantee of £12,000 given to the Waratahs. The profits will be divided between England, Wales, ..Scotland, and Ireland,' according ,to the number of matches played against the Waratahs. The English Union’s share will be ‘ about £17,000., The New South Wales Union will receive £l6OO.
