OBITUARY.

MR. ERIC ROBSON* There passed away at the Thames Hospital this morning Mr Eric Robson, second .son of Mr George E. and the late Mrs M. Robson. Born at Paeroa 19 years ago, deceased, whose mother died when he was a baby, was brought up by his grandmother, Mrs J. M- Robson, Te Aroha Road, Paeroa. On her demise he lived with his aunt, Mrs T. P. Vuglay. Deceased was educated at the Paeroa District High School, where he was always a bright and .popular boy. After leaving school he worked for his uncles, Messrs Robson Bros., grocers, Paeroa. About 18 months ago deceased .developed tuberculosis and w'as admitted to the Pukeora, Sanatorium at Waipukurau. About six months ago he was transferred to the Thames Hospital, but he failed to regain his health. Always a keen . follower, of sport, and particularly Rugby football, he was a member of the East Football Club, and, in addition to- being a reliable junior player, was always very popular with his clubmates. At the conclusion of the 1926 season he was, awarded a medal for the best back in his team. The funeral leaves the residence of Mr T. P. Vuglar for the Pukerimu Cemetery, Paeroa, at 3 o’clock tomorrow, afternoon, when old football team-mates of deceased will act as pall-bearers.
