PAEROA LUNCHEON ROOMS.
Sir, —1 have noticed in a recent issue of your paper a complaint about the lack of provision made by afternoon tea purveyors fpir visitors to Paeroa. As a fairly frequent visitor to Paeroa I can vouch for the fact that this lack of foresight on holiday occasions is tlie cause of much annoyance to country families, who expect shops, decorated with “afternoon tea” signs to provide that beverage. I have, more ti an .once been greeted with a snappy “sold < nt'"' at tea shops and restaurants on holiday and other occasions. A shopkeeper who displays an “afternoon tea” sign and cannot supply it is practising fraud. If he is “sold out” he should put a “sold out” sign in a place where it can be noted. F. DDUP. Thames.
