ENTERTAINMENTS.

AUROBA THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. DAMAGED GOODS. The film version of Eugene Brieux’s famous play, “Damaged Goods,” is to be screened to-night. The story, it is stated, teaches a lesson in its candid revelation of the effects that “red plague” makes in a community, and how also, by prudery and the conspiracy of silence, studiously ignorant people can encourage this dread disease. The author carries his message to a very high point, but the delicate s'tuations are said to be so weaved into the dramatic story that the intelligent mind is not distressed, but rather is refreshed. Although there are many extraordinary incidents, the sensationalism is merely the sincerity of the moral lesson aimed at. THURSDAY NIGHT. ROLLED STOCKINGS. "Rolled Stockings” is to be shown to-mprrow night. This picture concerns itself with two brothers ivho go to college and fall in love with the same girl. A peculiar change takes place. The serious youth becomes a philanderer, while his jazzy brother gradually discovers that his life has been a series of errors and he determines to change bis ways.
