LICENSING BILL'S FATE.
CONFERENCES LAST NIGHT.
PREMIER’S INTENTION UNKNOWN.
WELLINGTON, November 24. The, Licensing Bill’s fate still remains uncertain.
Last night was a busy one flor those concerned in conferences, but they made no progress. One of the Reiorm group favouring the bare majority stated to-day that they await an announcement from the Prime Minister. “If he does not continue with the bill someone else will take it up.”
Questioned whether he had an idea of the Prime Minister’s the member admitted that he not guess, though he had a feeling that his leader would not let the mat- _ ter drop.
