CONFERENCES LAST NIGHT.

PREMIER’S INTENTION UNKNOWN.

WELLINGTON, November 24. The, Licensing Bill’s fate still remains uncertain.

Last night was a busy one flor those concerned in conferences, but they made no progress. One of the Reiorm group favouring the bare majority stated to-day that they await an announcement from the Prime Minister. “If he does not continue with the bill someone else will take it up.”
