The story revolves around the; rivalry between a policeman and fireman for the hand of the city belle, each man backed by his respective department. SATURDAY NIGHT. MARRIAGE. “ Marriage,” an absorbing story of the fusion of two widely opposing human chemicals in the great melting pot of marriage is to be presented tomorrow night. This exceptionally powerful drama is- adapted from the widely-read novel by H. G. Wells. EASY PICKINGS. One of the most thrilling mystery pictures the screen has presented, “Easy Pickings,” featuring Anna Nillson; is also on the programme tomorrow night. This picture carries all the qualities of t.hose famous mystery thrillers of the stage, such as “ The Bat ” and “ The Cat and the Canary.” TURUA PICTURES. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5, On Saturday next will be shown at Turua “Red Hot Tires,” a roaming high-speed comedy of accidents, automobiles, and laughs. Monte Blue and Patsy Ruth Miller are here seen in their most entertaining comedy. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8.

On Tuesday the. great British Navy picture “Zeebrugge” will be shown. The story of Zeebrugge is the most daring adventure in naval history. In some respects the finest film ever made.” FULLER’S VAUDEVILLE. A. GREAT COMEDIAN. On Thursday next, November , 10, Sir Benjamin, and Mr John Fuller will present for the first time to a Paeroa audience the great Australian comedian George Wallace, and his talented company of 20 brilliant performers, including a clever dancing ballet of six charming girls. A world of fun is introduced in “Off Honolulu,” and gives patrons an opoprt,unity of witnessing George Wallace in the revue that made him famous) as the greatest laugh provoker seen on the vaudeville stage. The revue is elaborately staged and dressed, and is brimful of bright and breezy sketches, abounding in clean and clevqr comedy, popular and original vocal items, and smart dancing ensembles. George Wallace is the true comedian —a man who can make you laugh and keep you laughing. Supporting Mr Wallace is a strong cast of proved artists who assist in making the show one of the best, brightest, and altogether most popular revue companies on the Fuller circuit.
