NETHERTON DRAINAGE.
Sir, —Further to the report in your issue of Wednesday last with reference to the evident deadlock in the formation oof the Netherton drainage board over the of valuation and classification, I would point out that a duly constituted board may have the power to vary its system of rating. My contention is that a newly constituted board should have the privilege of defining its own policy and system of rating. Perhaps some abler pen than mine will take the matter up. W. SIMPSON. Pukahu Road.
