MATCH AGAINST DERBYSHIRE. RUNAWAY WIN FOR VISITORS. The New Zealand Cricketers secured an easy victory in their three days’ match against Derbyshire, at Derby. The home team in the first innings was dismissed for 129 runs. The New Zealanders replied with 541 runs: for nine wickets, and then declared. In the second innings Derbyshire’s total only reached 172 runs, thus leaving the New Zealanders victors by an innings and 240 runs. Commencing this- morning, the New Zealanders play a three days’ match against Lancashire at Manchester.
