PERSONAL
Messrs J. S. Jordan and V. H. Hazelton, inspectors of post offices ; H. G. Lakeman, district telegraph engineer : and M. Mclsaacs, -overseer, telegraph stores, are at present in Paeroa on departmental business.
Miss F. K. F. Emmott, who is the founder and leader of the Paeroa troop of Girl Guides and Brownies troop, has recived advice that she has passed the required tests and gained the Warrant. Miss Emmott now holds the rank of captain, and is entitled to wear the Blue Cockade.
