AURORA THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. THE ISLE OF HOPE. The principal picture to be presented to-night is “The Isle of Hope,” featuring the popular Dick Talmadge. A splendid supporting programme is also to be shown. SATURDAY NIGHT. SATAN IN SABLES. “Satan in Sables,” which is to be screened to-morrow night, is the story of a dissolute but lovable spendthrift Prince cursed with boundless’ power and an inordinate love of pleasure! THE OVERLAND STAGE. Riding stunts which absolutely top anything ever attempted for the screen are a feature of Ken Maynard’s performance in “The Overland Stage,” also to be showin to-morrow night. One of these is, his leap to the near horse of a runaway teem, going at breakneck speed. TURUA PICTURES. SATURDAY, AUGUST 6. “A Kiss for Cinderella,” showing at the Turua Hall to-morrow evening, is one of Sir J- M. Barrie’s Christmas pantomime stories adapted to the film. To emphasise the Cinderella scene of the plot a fantastic dream ball is introduced which is most unusual with gorgeous scenes. Aside from its imaginative qualities, the story has a tremendous heart appeal and a love element of unrivalled charm for young and old. TUESDAY, AUGUST 9.

“Black Paradise,” to be screened on Tuesday next, is a. tale of adventure on a rum-runnner bound for the South Seas, and provides' many thrilling episodes with a climax which comes suddenly and produces the big thrill of the picture ending most unexpectedly.
