CONVICTIONS ENTERED.

PLAINS INSPECTOR’S VICTIMS.

At the Magistrate’s Court, Thames, yesterday, five motorists and one motor-cyclist were convicted and fined on the information of Mr R- H. Cameron, Hauraki Plains County inspector, who set traps and caught speeding motorists at Waitakaruru, Orchard East Road, and Wilson’s Road in March and\June last. Three first offenders, P. E. Brenan, P. Benner, and W. Curtis, were each fined 10s and costs; and two third offenders, R. Patterson and E. Thomas, were each fined 40s and costs. The motor-cyclist was F. Collins, a first offender, who was fined 10s and costs. The- costs in each case were £1 13s, and a proportion of the -witness’ expenses. “
